Permalink Reply by Adrienne (Addie) Matteson on March 15, 2011 at 5:07pm I admit, I am a huge Twitter fan, but I understand a certain amount of trepidation when it comes to using it in the classroom. I think there is a lot of potential in a tool that allows students to ask questions of the world at large, but it needs to be used carefully. Here is a real life example of Twitter being used in the classroom.

Hi Michael, This is the exact question that I am trying to get answered!! I agree with the personal and professional use of Twitter, so I started brainstorming with other educators...the only idea we came up with was tweeting homework assignments to students and or parents and although I agree it is another way to get the info out, at what point are students responsible for writing it down, checking the syllabus or straight up asking? Anyway I will be checking back to see if anyone has other classroom applications for Twitter, Thanks, Kristen
