Hey, I started using twitter (inspired by Steve Dembo). I'm still looking for good educators to follow and I thought the MACULSpace group would be a good group to follow on twitter. It seems I need some more distractions in my life :-)
So, if you wouldn't mind, who out there twitters and what is your address?
I came across this link while on twitter today. Digimom was looking for ideas in creating a photo scavenger hunt for her tech club. After many submitted ideas, this is her final post. Check it out. http://tinyurl.com/65rges
Patti,
This photo scavenger hunt is awesome. I was on twitter today, but missed this! Again another reason I love twitter, if I miss something, and it is good my great PLN brings it back to me. I had the pleasure of meeting Digimom during my first session ever ustreamed! I LOVE TWITTER, yes virtually screaming!

I Love Twitter too. I often feel overwhelmed by all that is going on. It seems as though there is so much that I don't know. I am learning so much, there is something new everyday.
I also love your web site. I am interested in Digital Storytelling. I have done a little with my 2nd graders and will be reading more on your site as I look into this more. I also wish your tech camps would come to Michigan!
Thanks, my tech camps are so much fun, but I have the rest of my life to be famous! Now I want to be a mom home for baseball season and a trip to Cooperstown in a motorhome with the team. My life rocks, balance is key!
I agree wth you, the technology can be overwhelming when you also have to keep up with 2nd graders (my favorite grade of all times). There are so many changes, shifts and amazing discoveries it is so much fun!
Enjoy my website, I am working to update, change, yet keep it the same. NOW that is a challenge! Glad you are here for the discussion!

Since I no longer have a classroom, I don't use Twitter in my classroom. I don't think that I would even if I had a classroom. I DO use Twitter for my own PLN (Personal Learning Network). I learn SO much for the people I follow!! I to learned about Twitter a couple years ago from Steve Dembo. The Discovery Educator Network has a pretty big following. That's what has really gotten me hooked. I keep in touch with all my DEN folks via Twitter. If they are working on a presentation or have a question, they tweet about it and I learn the resources when they do. They are also a great group for sharing the resources they are creating. I use Tweetdeck to follow my Twitter friends. I like the layout. Some of my PLN switched over to Plurk this past summer. It was OK but I ended up back at Twitter. There's another 2 cents worth....
