MACUL Space

connecting educators & enhancing learning

I am very fortunate to be able to attend NECC this year! I am traveling with Mary S., SIGTELE's Communications Officer. We are arriving in San Antonio on Saturday, June 28 in the afternoon. We are returning to Michigan on July 3. Mary and I are both signed up to attend the Constructivist PreConference on Sunday, June 29.

Who else is going? When are you arriving and leaving? What special events will you be attending? Do you know about the Michigan Reception (with Virginia and Maryland) on Monday, June 30 from 6-10 pm at the Marriott Riverfront Hotel?

There is a NING for NECC 2008! You should check it out even if you can't attend. There are already some interesting discussions and the plan is to use the NING to extend the conference. I'm looking forward to "seeing" you there, whether it be virtually or in real life!

P.S. If you are a presenter like Michael McVey, please let us know about your session(s).

Thanks Laura!
I'll be in touch about when we can meet to get you the flyers. Are you staying at the MACUL hotel? If you are, I can leave them for you there.

My reservation is at the Homewood Suites Riverwalk. I believe that is the MACUL hotel so your plan should work.

I am at the Westin Riverwalk. You have my cell number. Leave me a message where to pick them up.

Frank,
I may try to gather a Michigan group for a picture for the Journal on one of the first days of NECC. If we do, I'll bring the flyers to everyone at that time.

I will be attending. Not presenting this year. Just going to learn and network. Will arrive on Sunday. Look forward to seeing everyone on Monday night.

I'll be there. Tried to go the year of 9/11 and am finally going to make it happen.

We leave the 20th of June to spend a week with my sister who moved near Dallas. We plan to arrive Sunday June 29th and will stat at the Homewood with the rest of the MACUL group.

From there we had to Santee, SC for a family reunion. We will return to Lansing gas poor around July 7th.

There are also a huge amount of videos on YouTube about this Wii Interactive Whiteboard System. Just search for IR PEN, or if you want to see me make a professor of myself search for "nerd ir pen".
