Creating SCORM Learning Objects - Friday, March 12 1-2 PM Amway GP - Vandenberg B

It looks like my session is up against Steve Dembo's on 'Cool Websites' - so I think I need to get the word out :)

I'm doing a hands-on session on creating SCORM compliant Learning Objects and course authoring for your learning management system.  We'll talk about making interactive learning content that can be created once and published into multiple locations, such as your LMS (Angel, Blackboard, Moodle) or the web.  In addition, we'll talk a bit about the future of mobile learning, and how important it might be to create content that is accessible on hand held mobile internet connected devices (iPod and other tablets).

Where: Vandenberg B, Amway, Concourse Level - Friday March 12, 2010 from 1:00 PM-2:00 PM

Dale, thanks for the reply. I've created a couple of 'courses' on MyUdutu and think it's an interesting platform, especially because of the option to export the course as a SCORM compatible course and import it into Moodle or Blackboard.

With that said - I still like to option of creating content offline and then publishing it to multiple platforms. I typically use 5 or 6 products to build courses, and still like eXe and Xerte - both of which allow me to build learning objects that look and feel pretty close to the Ududtu product.

There's just so many out there now, that once you get used to one or tools and learn them well, you tend to stick with them. BTW - if you didn't see the list in my wiki, here's a huge list of instructional tools from Jane Hart at C4LPT.

Thanks again for the suggestion - I'm others that are trying out how to create learning objects will be able to use Ududtu pretty quick to see the possibilities.
Just going over Xerte right now, looks fantastic.
