Linda,

Be sure to check out ThinkFinity for lessons and activities. I love the Interactives. thinkfinity.org

Also The English Companion is a Ning site for, of course, English teachers. You might ask your question there or look around the site for where others have found great lessons to use.

Hi Linda,

Try ReadWriteThink, http://www.readwritethink.org/
Schmoop, http://www.shmoop.com/
I was going to put in the ReadWriteThink website as well; it's an awesome resource. You could always try Betterlesson.org and look through their database.
One of the best sites is Thinkfinity. There are lesson plans, interactives, and much more. http://www.thinkfinity.org/

Linda,

Check out http://englishcompanion.ning.com/. You will have to register an account, but the discussions shared on the the site are truly worth signing up for. I like the site because most all the users are English teachers and have actually taught the lessons they are prescribing.
Go to MEL.org and select the MORE portal. This resouce is aligned to the GLCES/HSCES/standards, and includes Thinkfinity resources in a search.
