MACUL Space

connecting educators & enhancing learning

From Stephen Henderson
Second Grade Teacher
Marion Elementary

My class and I entered a national music video contest put on by E-instruction where we had to show how we use or would use technology in the classroom. Grand prize is $25,000 in technology equipment. We have found out that we are 1 of 5 finalists in our category and the only Michigan classroom remaining. We are asking for your support by voting for our video. Public votes account for 30% of the final judging which ends Nov. 14. Our video is T-E-C-H done to the music of Y.M.C.A. As a supporter of the used of technology in Michigan classrooms, we ask for your help by voting and sending this e-mail to MACUL staff and members so that they may vote as well. Registering and voting only takes a few minutes. We thank you for your time and support. Below is the link to the video. Enjoy and thanks!

I saw this on the leadership listserv, and had the same thought of sharing on the Space here; you just beat me to it. I've seen a couple of videos from previous years' e-Instruction competitions, and I'm really excited about this entry. Here's to Stephen and his students!

There are also a huge amount of videos on YouTube about this Wii Interactive Whiteboard System. Just search for IR PEN, or if you want to see me make a professor of myself search for "nerd ir pen".
