In reply to Marilyn's question from July. Verizon Thinkfinity is rolling out a new professional development program that acknowledges "less formal" training of trainers. You do not need to go through formal training to show the resources. If you see something you want to share, please share it!

I will be providing Thinkfinity Training alongside Karen Lemmons at the October 24th DEN Day of Discovery "Tech or Treat" in Harper Creek. More info coming soon.

Hi, All.
Seeing as how I just finished 2 weeks of tech workshops, I thought it was time to join this group and see what else is going on. Haven't done Thinkfinity training, but familiar with the web site. Do you have to be an official trainer to present the resources??

I just finished the THINKFINITY training, also. I think it is a great resource! I'm hoping to get into one of the PD days at my school this fall.

I am unofficially (PD for next year is not set in stone yet) on board to conduct a Thinkfinity training next fall. I'm not sure of the details (# of participants, location) yet but I am excited. Plus, it gives me the summer to find more WOWs.

I suggest this resource to all my staff when they are in need of ideas to supplement the curriculum. No official training as of yet.

I just finished an unofficial Thinkfinity training with the media specialists on REMC at Wayne RESA. It was well received. I'm also doing one in August for teachers in my district.

Hey everyone--I did a "trial" training--nothing official with registering and doing the survey and it went very well. My audience really got into using the resources. I am looking forward to my next opportunity to share Thinkfinity--officially.
