Jason Ohler Digital Storytelling Webinar on Wed 12/17/08 @ 7pm! Jason Ohler is this month’s featured speaker on Discovery Education’s EdTech Connect. I got to know him last March when he came to the MACUL Conference. The Elementary Education Special Interest Group sponsored a digital storytelling pre-conference session faciliated by Jason Ohler and it was FANTASTIC. He understands the importance of telling a good story, and sees technology as secondary to the writing process. I am so envious of everyone that went to the national institutes. At least I am going to Chicago for the regional institute.

Just returned from DEN National Institute! My head is spinning!!!!

What an amazing event. Can't wait for the start of school. I have already started sharing with our teachers and can't wait to share more.........

OK everyone! If you applied to a DEN Institute this summer and were accepted, please post it here. I figure this is a good place to connect and maybe make plans to travel together! Let others know too.
I'm headed to Silver Spring for the LC Institute July 14-18.
