Hello,

I am a student in CEP 810 at MSU.  I just finished a research project with my SIG and wanted to share some resources with the group.
One of the resources I located was mobile lesson plans for the classroom:

I also learned about two new recent apps.  The first is the edmodo app.  I love that this safe social networking site for students and teachers is now available as an app. Connecting your students with learners of other cultures is part of the NETS 2007 standards for students.  You can do this with edmodo.  Find out more things to do with the edmodo app at the following link:

An app that I'm really excited about is the Flat Stanley app.  While I don't currently teach Flat Stanley, I have in the past.  Flat Stanley by Jeff Brown is great for making cross -curricular connections especially with geography.  This free app is available for your iPad, ipod touch, or iphone.

Hope you will have time to check out these wonderful resources.
Dawn
