connecting educators & enhancing learning

Any good ideas that I can implement with Kindergarten and Young 5's? Currently, I use Starfall and Paint quite a bit. Does anyone have any other websites or activities that are suited for this age group?

Lots of great stuff on the site, just had to do a little digging for ya':

Best Web 2.0 Apps for Elementary

Dance Mat Typing
Mouse Clicks from Kelley Irish

If you go to the forum tab, and then search for elementary, you'll come across a lot of great stuff too.

Thanks, Ben. I hadn't realized that there was a search function at the top. I love the Mouse Clicks link. That is what I was looking for.

Kidspiration is a great software to use for little ones too.

Because Kidspiration only allows one application to be run per computer, our systems don't support it, unfortunately.

Hey Andrew!
When I was tutoring the younger kids, we used http://www.sheppardsoftware.com/preschool/preschool.htm. We use Starfall as well. Good site! The kids also like http://www.agame.com/. They like that one because it's silly. But some of the games are interesting. They have one where the kids perform surgery. Hope this helps
