Ben Rimes said… - Hey Joe, I went to two different schools while in the Arlington Heights area; Westgate & Juliette Low. I was always distracted by the "open classroom" approach that Julliette Low had, not sure if they've since built walls to close in the school some, but I always thought it was a hoot to walk through the library "area" to get to music class (which for some reason had it's own room). I was at Westgate for 2 years, but don't remember much because I was so young.

- Welcome to MACUL Space, Joe! I used to live in Arlington Heights, although I was in grade school at the time. Grand Rapids isn't nearly the big city that Chicago is, but I'm glad you're enjoying coming back home so to speak.

- Looking forward to MACUL '08 and revisiting the site of my "big days out" in the city. When I was attending a high school between Saugutuck and Holland, we really enjoyed our occasional trips to Grand Rapids. Even got to see Simon & Garfunkel on one of them.
