Hi Kevin,
I have a note in my email about connecting on CoSN's network, but it won't let me, so I thought I would say hello here! How are you doing? Things are going great at Tech4Learning and as usually insanely busy. How are things in Wayne-Westland? Despite the fact that we are doing okay, San Diego City Schools is not and it is only getting worse next year, much worse. I hope things are starting to rebound for you!

Thanks, Dude. It is almost over and I have basically used it to rule out avenues of research that LOOKED like they had potential but weren't.

Hi Kevin,

I noticed your comment about how I teach web page...I do include a bit of scripting - we play with php to process forms, but not too much beyond that. It's an introductory web class, so I don't want to kill anyone with code :) We do offer independent study in php/javascript to make pages more dynamic. Do you teach web page? I am always interested in bouncing ideas around.

I come out to schools to discuss several subjects:
The joy of writing and reading - a career day favorite (free to schools)

Creative writing excercise (four day session for one hour a day) ( I usually like to pay the authors that I arrange to visit $50 a visit )

and our group sets up mini lit conferences at schools with 4 local writers of various genres. usually two hours are necessary for this one. ($300)
