End of Year

It's that bittersweet time of year for me as a teacher.

Yippee!!! Summer is almost here. I'll have time to do all of those things I've been wanting to get to. I'll get to see more of my friends and family. I can spend tons of time outdoors!

Boohoo....I have to say goodbye to my students. I have to let them move on to middle school so I won't even get to see them around the building or out at recess. I hate it!

And it's coming no matter which way I think about it.

Hi Laura,

With your work in Education Technology, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service. Here’s a public class recording conducted by Nellie Deutsch on Technology Integration.

Hi Larua,

I've sent you a couple of messages and they bounced back. I need to know if SIG TELE is still interested in hosting the Constructivist Consoritiam Celebration...Diane asked me if SIG MM would be interested, but then I saw SIG TELE had signed up for it some time ago...so I'm confused. Please advise. Thanks! Lisa

Besides teaching and family time, I'm busy working on one program for our school (integrating 21st Century Skills, Science, Ed Tech, and Tech Ed) and another for the district (integrating 21st Century skills, social constructivism, web 2.0, and online learning). It's great fun!
