Hi Lisa,

With your work in Technology for Haslett PS, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service. Here’s a public class recording you might find of interest.

Lisa, too bad the online version of the recent Education Week article, titled: Networking Teachers Coaxing Colleagues To Use Technology, doesn't include the picture of you, like the print version does. It looked like you were having fun!

Lisa, I don't see the Day of Discovery Info anymore. Is it still Oct 25 or was it Sept 25 and I missed it? Both dates were listed on one of the posts.

Hi Lisa,

You can capture the video's with Cam studio. Then I import them into windows movie maker or IMivie where you can add transitions and titles. I have done the life cycle of the butterfly, ocean life, story elements, Anything the kids can draw and write about they can make a movie about. Try flip sticks and aniboom next:)

Sorry, Lisa, the video you mentioned doesn't ring a bell with me. I did a search though and found this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lm1sCsl2MQY). Hope it's the one you were looking for.

Lisa,
Thanks for sharing this link. I hadn't seen Andy's blog recently or followed this discussion. It is right on - the value is in the process students go through on so many levels of learning while they are beginning to learn programming through game development.. Thanks, again , for all your help with the SIGMM event - it was a wonderful day!
