I used Twitter with 7th graders in literature circles. Students had a month to read Anne Frank in class. As they read, they twittered their questions and remarks about the reading. Students were able to watch Tweets on the Tweetdeck running on the…

Great case study. Look forward to hearing how the project comes out. I use it with my students who are more independent workers and in my upper level classes. They are to document what they did during class each day/class period.

Hi Matt,
How is your summer. You are so all over the Internet now!!!
Did you ever get the list of Mich educators from Jim for Twitter? I have been a bad Twitterer lately, just a lurker.... I just check to see what Russell Tarr posts. He always has good links.
Later....

Congrats on the baby! Glad to hear all went well.
If you do not get in touch with Jim Wenzloff for the list of educators using Twitter, let me know. I have it in my Google Docs and I can share it with you or send it to you. The list is growing and growing.......

I am now following you as well...
Thanks for the lead on BC Times, I haven't looked into who to follow yet except a list Jim Wenz gave us. If you want to look him up on my Twitter, you can send him a message and he will get you the list. It is a list of educators in Michigan using Twitter.
I follow the Tigers in my Bloglines, so I don't think I will Twitter them too.

Not sure what I did wrong....

OK, cool.
Kevin Galbraith gave me these links when I signed up:
- http://tweetscan.com/ - Search for keywords, like MACUL and see if the tweeter is someone you want to follow.

Here are some sites I have found on Twitter, about Twitter:
http://tinyurl.com/c67jhh
http://tinyurl.com/ccbfr4
That tinyurl seems pretty cool. If they are not really links or do not go where you think they should, let me know. I am sure you would have found these on your own, you are so clever, but I thought I would share.....

Hey Matt, Do you twitter? I saw a request for Business teachers to follow someone for ideas and thought of you. If you create a twitter, or already have one, my user name is pendinger.
Any baby yet???

I've taught web design in the past, but not recently. I was asking because there are so few static pages anymore. I wondered what the classroom looks like in the design classrooms.

Welcome to MACULspace, Matt. I agree with Penny, you're off and running...

In your web design class, what applications do your students use? Are their projects static or dynamic (I see you teach a programming class, just wondering if you put the two together at all.)

Welcome, Matt. I see you are putting the site to good use already. I knew you would like it.
