With your work in Technology Integration, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service. Here’s a public class recording conducted by Nellie Deutsch on Technology Integration.

Thanks for the note. I am glad to have found this Space. I haven't been to MACUL's conference for at least 8 years, and now that I am back to being a computer teacher, I am psyched to come to the conference (and hopefully present). At this point I wish I had more time to search through the comments on this page to see what people have posted. I did scan through your tech savvy page and it looks like I need to go back and read a couple of things.
I also like the idea of having kids put their own faces on a "card" like you did on your explorer cards. Have you done that with students...either with the famous faces or with their own? That might be a fun end of the year project for the 5th graders (after our state test).
Speaking of not enough time, I am off to school to install some testing software on the student computers.
