Found some neat things on Twitter. I am following the BCTimes on mlive...it gives you headlines and a link if you want to read more. I'm also following the Tigers (of course) and you :) I'm going to look up tinyurl today. It seems compelling. No baby yet!

I Just googled your Name, I was hoping to ask you for a recommendation some time. We are no long in BC because of the work situation. We moved to Indianapolis. We still own the house on Van Buren and are renting it to good tenants. What did I just sign up for? ( MACUL) The teacher certificate did not work out but I am looking to get started down here. The
Galbraith guy looks frighteningly simular to me. Are there any teaching Assistant openings at Handy?

Please feel free to join the MI-Champion Group, Penny. Any and all materials that they post will most definitely benefit you as well. Just keep in mind that if they post any info about training sessions and the like they're talking about the grant recipients :)
Penny, the MI-Champions program was actually a special professional development initiative provided by MDE that allowed 90 teams of educators to attend MACUL and participate in a summer workshop for technology in education training. Unfortunately, application for the grant is now over because we had such a HUGE number of applicants.
However, you're more then welcome to participate in the MI-Champions Group here on the site and grow with them :)

I see you use Audacity. We do oral presentations. Students record their presentations, save it as an MP3 file and e-mail it to me. For my Spn. 3 class, students were required to record their final on Audacity. Students can also use Audacity for learning vocab.
Consider doing a Service-Learning Second Language project. Does your textbook have resources online? If not, try www.classzone.com, and let me know. Keep in touch.
