I worked with Carolyn's mother in Royal Oak which gave us an instant connection when we first met via MACUL SIGs. It was fun working with her on SIG business and visiting at meetings. I will miss her. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to her family.

Carolyn will be missed. My thoughts go out to her family, colleagues, and students. She was a great advocate for her students, robotics, programming, and MACUL.

I enjoyed getting to know Carolyn through MACUL. She will be missed!

I also did not know she was sick. She was beating most people on the Wii during the MACUL retreat just a few months ago!

Robotics makes me think of Carolyn. I remember how proud and amazed she was when her little, small district beat out the big guys at a robotics competition. I can still see the excitement in her face and hear it in her voice. I hope her students know how very proud she was. I am glad I had a chance to meet and work with such a wonderful educator.

Prayers of comfort for Carolyn's family..

Carolyn's presence in MACUL will be greatly missed. She was passionate in her support of student academic success. Her leadership in SIGCS and participation in the Budget Task Force was very appreciated by us all. I'm glad I had the opportunity to work with her.

My sympathies to Carolyn's family and loved ones as they experience the loss of Carolyn. I had the privilege of knowing and working with Carolyn during her tenure as a leader of SIGCS. She was a dedicated educator, and one that worked hard to help her students in the very rural area of Van Buren County.

She was so involved with MACUL, mentoring, and teaching, and kept herself so busy that I had no idea she was ill until I received the news recently of her passing. She should serve as an inspiration to her students and other educators reaching out beyond their own community, in hopes of creating a better world.

There are also a huge amount of videos on YouTube about this Wii Interactive Whiteboard System. Just search for IR PEN, or if you want to see me make a professor of myself search for "nerd ir pen".
