I'm flattered that you think of my as one of the "big thinkers", Dean. I follow a lot of the same people you mentioned and am constantly in awe of what they're doing.
I'm right with you on staying focused on the classroom. The easiest way to get a teacher onboard with what you're thinking is to provide ways to use a tool (whether it be technology or not) the next day. Then you start working on the "big stuff."
