The purpose of the Michigan Joint Educational Conference is to establish widespread use of highly relevant integrated curriculum in Michigan Schools.
MSU Tech Day at Erickson Hall, Michigan State University
November 14, 2009 from 8:30am to 4pm
The 26th Annual Educational Technology Conference at the College of Education. Breakout sessions, workshops, keynote, panel discussions. Format change from previous years with the opportunity to attend a workshop in the morning or afternoon.
Space for the Tech Integration Field Trainers to share resources and ideas.
Group for those interested in professional development and teacher education.

Yes, your idea of a Retired Group for MACUL Space is a good idea. I will follow through. Also, I thanks for coming to the MACUL Retired Focus Group Meeting at the conference and sharing your ideas.

The bad news is, you can't merge groups, but the good news is, you can edit all of a groups info, so you can rename one of the groups with the new name, info, logo, and more. Since SIG TE only has 8 members I would recommend changing SIGPD to reflect the new changes, then message everyone in SIG TE to join the new group if they want. THen you can delete the old group.

Maybe you can give me some insight about the early tech days of DPS. We still seem to be the forgotten curriculum. The tech requirements in NCLB have helped to bring technology forward, but we still have a ways to go. I'm also a PhD student (just got accepted) at WSU Instructional Technology, school of Ed. You should come visit your old school, I'm sure you would be interested to see how things have changed OR remained the same :-\
