Hall demonstrated that you can use an old cassette type camcorder as a document camera. You can find the old type perhaps in your house or at a garage sale. This can save you lots of money. Has anyone tried this? Which cables did you use to make the connection?

To those who are trying to edit video using the Sony Handycam DCR-SR42, you can use Windows Movie Maker to edit. The Cyberlink DVD Suite that came with the camcorder is not recommended. If you need to convert the Sony mpg files, I used Format Factory with success.
