Blogging would allow me to communicate with other teachers and could provide me with ideas on how to increase student achievement.
I have already begun using blogs in my classroom for reading reflections and for creative writing topics. I did not consider using them for professional learning until now. This is a great tool to find out what others think and have tried.

With your work in Assistive Technology for Macomb ISD, I recommend you take a look at Wiziq's virtual classroom and authorstream's power point presentation platform. Both are web based platforms, have a bunch of features and free basic service. Here’s a public class recording you might find of interest.
