Okay, so it’s been a while since I blogged on MACULspace, but I have been blogging (check out OneThingMichigan.blogspot.com). But I discovered this very cool feature on the web with which all my ed techie friends would agree (and probably already know about it).

Humor 2.0

So I have been tracking an interesting blog titled, “Indexed,” maintained by Jessica Hagy. I even bought her book.

Then I ran across Hagy’s 3/17 post.

COSN: when a conference is really a conversation …

It was a little hard to follow up MACUL 2008 with CoSN 2008, but that’s what happened. To be honest, I wasn’t enthusiastic about doing MACUL then CoSN back-to-back because it’s smaller than MACUL and counts as “1” in terms of the limited out of state trips that I can take this year.

But thi… Continue

MACUL 2008 made me a rock star …

… and I am not referring to the Guitar Hero III duel that kicked off my “MDE Update” session on Thursday (3/6/08). I am talking about owning “Umpstead” on Google.com.

Out of curiosity, on last Friday after the conference, I decided to “google” my last name on “… Continue

I am totally intrigued by social networks. Just happy they have evolved into meaningful ways to communicate. Really liked the notschool.com info, especially around this very topic.

Hi Bruce,

It was good to re-connect with you at MACUL. This kind of networking that takes place at the conference is at least as valuable to many attendees as the sessions themselves!

Hi Bruce,

Sorry I didn't get a chance to speak with you at MACUL! I am curious as to the event you referred to on Wednesday. Let's talk soon!
Hope your presos went well!

A huge helping of thanks to you, Bruce, for your support of MACUL and helping to restore confidence in state government supporting technology in education. For a simple teacher like me, it's inspiring and amazing to be able to converse with someone in your position that can affect change at a state level.

Hey Bruce,
We had a MACUL Board meeting yesterday and Marie Zuk reviewed the MI-Champions program. The Board was really impressed with the program and Marie's dedication to the project. We're really looking forward to launching this exciting opportunity to expand the capacity for Michigan educators to better integrate technology throughout the curriculum.

We expect the registration website to launch within the next 7 days.

Thanks for making this happen!

HTML editors like Microsoft Frontpage can create links in different parts of a picture. You should be able to do this then point the hyperlinks to the answers.
