I am all for setting up alternate ways for students to self-enroll and access Moodle. My opinions are often viewed as too insecure - and they may be. But I am okay with that. :-)

Ning is pretty flexible, so anyone is welcome to start up a project/use for the group forums. There are ways to attach files, OR you could go to the Notes page (which are just wiki pages) and create a wiki page for Moodle courses, and then people can create or add as they see fit.

Nice picture! What kind of courses are you seeking? There are not canned courses out there at this point, but others may be willing to share if you know what types you need. I have several PD courses you can look at if you'd like. Also, there is CareerForward that you can use for middle and high school students.
