Welcome to the space! I must have missed you as I was scouring the "who to invite to be my friend" list... Thanks for coming to the 100th podcast - that was a ton of fun!
I'm right with you on staying focused on the classroom. The easiest way to get a teacher onboard with what you're thinking is to provide ways to use a tool (whether it be technology or not) the next day. Then you start working on the "big stuff."
I blog over at www.techsavvyed.net in case you're interested. Most of the conference stuff will start popping up over there during the next week. I'm glad you brought your son with you, and I'm really geeked that you're leading by example; showing him how to be a life long learner.
