DEAN!
Welcome to the space! I must have missed you as I was scouring the "who to invite to be my friend" list... Thanks for coming to the 100th podcast - that was a ton of fun!

I'm flattered that you think of my as one of the "big thinkers", Dean. I follow a lot of the same people you mentioned and am constantly in awe of what they're doing.

I'm right with you on staying focused on the classroom. The easiest way to get a teacher onboard with what you're thinking is to provide ways to use a tool (whether it be technology or not) the next day. Then you start working on the "big stuff."

I blog over at www.techsavvyed.net in case you're interested. Most of the conference stuff will start popping up over there during the next week. I'm glad you brought your son with you, and I'm really geeked that you're leading by example; showing him how to be a life long learner.

Welcome to MACUL Space, Dean! Was that you sitting with your son in the back of the Geek Ed session?
